Balinale 2024 Berakhir, Film Terbaik dari Berbagai Negara Diumumkan

Pendiri Festival, Deborah Gabinetti mengatakan, Balinale memperhatikan tren global semacam itu dan potensi film untuk pertukaran budaya serta mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi bagi Indonesia.
“Festival ini bertujuan memanfaatkan kepopulerannya yang semakin meningkat untuk menarik film-film kelas dunia dan memposisikannya sebagai pusat kreativitas di Asia,” ucapnya.
Adapun para juri secara resmi telah mengumumkan sejumlah film peraih penghargaan Balinale 2024. Berikut daftar pemenangnya:
1. Best Feature Documentary: No More History Without Us, Priscilla Regis Brasil (Brazil)
2. Best Short Documentary: Nusa Ina, Anne Jan Sijbrandij (Netherlands)
3. Best Short Narrative: The Masterpiece, Àlex Lora (Spain)
4. Best Feature Narrative: The Gospel of the Beast, Sheron Dayoc (Philippines)
5. Special Jury Award: Dhvani- The Sound Around (Short Documentary - Anurag Dwivedi (India)
6. Special Jury Award: Porcelain War (Feature Documentary) Brendan Bellomo, Slava Leontyev (United States)
7. Gary L Hayes Award for Emerging Indonesian Filmmaker: HUMA (Short Narrative) Kezia Alexandra (Indonesia)
8. Committee Choice: Feature Narrative – Asog, Seán Devlin (Canada)
9. Committee Choice: Feature Documentary – Point of Change, Rebecca Coley (United Kingdom)
10. Sustainable Film Award: Kewang – Nature’s Ancient Guardians, Indah Rufiati (Indonesia)
